Concentration Area

The Master’s Degree in the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC) has one area of Concentration called “Structures and Civil Construction”, where two lines of research are outlined: “Mechanics of Structures and Materials” and “Management, Technology and Sustainability in Civil Construction”. A transversal interaction between the lines of research can be obtained by developing joint research, such as using solid waste from Civil Construction, Agriculture and Mining activities, which are sectors in the Southeast Region of Goiás, to develop new materials, which may entail investigating mechanical and physical properties, numerical simulation, chemical characterization and technical, environmental and financial viability.
